My doctor seems to think I have a candida infection, I took many different types of antibiotics and I was thinking I has some sort of bacterial or STD.

Anyway I have had pain in the urethral opening of the penis for several months
Extreme itching in the testicles and anus
Color issues with the head of the penis – reactions to hot water, red patches etc
Abdominal pain

I have taken 22 days of Nystatin 6 pills a day, plus 6-4 doctor preferred probiotics and zero sugar for almost a month, it feels better but it feels really far from gone.

and my health is getting worse and worse because I am limited to being able to tolerate only 5 foods that dont make my condition drastically worse. I have been sick for years trying to get rid of this and now I am really hurting and I dont have the money for a candida specialists or lots of crappy herbs that usually dont work. Help, what can I do? Can anyone recommend a proven candida doctor who will not just take my money for a consult and tell me to take a ton of vitamins from some crappy company they own stock in. I need serious help, so please only serious answers. Thanks
I did see GI and Urologists, they are useless because they tell me there is no test to detect candida overgrowth and therefore it doesn’t exist, its a made up condition. Isn’t that a nice way to tell me they have no idea whats wrong with me? jerks

u need systemic anti fungal treatment, still u’ve to find out the cause of this infection usually some immune compromising disease

I nursed my son for 16 months, just weaned a month ago.. During the course of that time a small dark spot (not raised, just flat surface of skin) developed near the aerola of my breast. I thought it was due to his having bit me more than once during the course of weaning, or the fact that my skin around the nipple would often crack, and was always healing or bleeding.. Now a month after I’ve completely weaned my son off, my nipple and aereola is peeling and dry. The dark spot appears smaller and faded now, but itches like crazy! I’ve done a full breast examination twice so far and feel nothing different or wierd. So I don’t think it’s cancer, but I could be wrong. I spoke with a nurse over the phone, she said that it could be candida yeast infection. Does this sound accurate? Does anyone have a clue? Please don’t be too worried yet. Most breast lumps are not cancerous, but only a doctor can tell.
- Breast discharge is a common problem and is not always a symptom of cancer.
- Nipple inversion is a common variant of normal nipples, but nipple inversion that is a new development can be of concern.
