Click Here To Find A Solution To Your Yeast Infection Or Thrush Problem!

i recently had sex with my boyfriend for the 2nd time and 2days after it , it really started to hurt when i peed and it still does about a week and half later and i need to pee all the time, i don’t want to ask my mum because then she will know im not a virgin and i am 14 years old (nearly 15) i’d really appreciate some answers as im freaking out on what to do.. im not sure if its related to sex or not.

Sounds like a UTI (urinary tract infection) You can try flush it out with a heap of water BUT if you have already had it for a week now i would suggest you see your Dr and get some antibiotics for it. They are very annoying!!

Thrush actually makes you itchy REAL itchy and you tend to get a bit of discharge which is white (kinda looks like cottage cheese.). Thrush doesn’t actually burn, just itches. So definitely sounds like a urine infection.

How long does it take to get rid of thrush?

Click Here To Find A Solution To Your Yeast Infection Or Thrush Problem!

I have a yeast infection (Thrush) on my penis, and took an over the counter pill on sunday, combined with natural yoghurt, drinking plenty of water and cut sugar and alcohol out of my diet.
Its now thursday and the visual symptoms are almost all but gone, however I want to know how long I should leave it before I can safely have intercourse without infecting my partner?

I found out I had systemic cadidiasis once, after antibiotic treatment followed by thrush.

It takes months to get rid of it completely, but, usually if you suppress the bacteria, it is virtually gone.

To suppress it, take a regiment of Lactobacillus acidophilus for a few weeks. I would suggest buying a cleansing formula with LA from GNC and follow the directions.

It really worked for me. My thrush cleared after two days and after the first week, I felt amazing.

Good Luck, I hope this helped!

What are the treatment options for vaginal thrush?
Topical treatments

These are pessaries and creams which you insert into the vagina with an applicator. They contain anti-yeast medicines such as clotrimazole, econazole, fenticonazole, or miconazole. Commonly, a single large dose inserted into the vagina is sufficient to clear a bout of thrush. However, you may also want to rub some anti-yeast cream onto the skin around the vagina (the vulva) for a few days, especially if it is itchy. You can get topical treatments on prescription, or you can buy them at pharmacies without a prescription. Side-effects are uncommon, but read the product label for full information. You can use topical treatments if you are pregnant.
Tablets

Two options are available. Fluconazole, which is taken as a single dose, or itraconazole which is taken as two doses over the course of one day. You can get these treatments on prescription, and you can also buy fluconazole from pharmacies without a prescription. Side-effects are uncommon, but always read the product label for full information. Do not take these if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You may also want to rub some anti-yeast cream onto the skin around the vagina for a few days, especially if it is itchy.

Tablets and topical treatments are equally effective. Tablets are more convenient, but are more expensive than most topical treatments.

Friendly advise needed after giving birth…bladder infection, thrush etc…?

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Hi
I had my beautiful girl 5 weeks ago, I suffered with 3rd degree tears which required stitching in theatre, I also lost 800 ml of blood. I went home the following day after they decided not to replace any lost blood. Since then I have not been right, I have suffered from thrush due to the anti biotics hospital gave me to prevent infection after theatre, I had a thrombosed haemorhoid which has now gone down but I was left with the most awful pain when going to the toilet, so i went to see my doctor as the piles were so painful, who examined my anus and confirmed that I didnt have piles any more they had gone but they have left me with a fissure (tear in anus) which is like passing razor blades!! then I have now gone on to develop a bladder infection which hurts when iv finished weeing, so my doctor also gave me penicillin to treat the infection which has caused me anoter bout of thrush…aarrrggghh its never ending will i ever get over this, I am so run down with it all, plz help

it really sucks but you just have to try to wait it out. Instead of thrush I usually get yeast infections from antibiotics, so we all have something that affects us. Maybe for your bladder infection you can try taking cranberry pills with lots of water. This is a more natural way of getting rid of the bateria and it won’t give you thrush. Doctors won’t prescribe cranberry pills because they are natural and you can just get them from walgreens, walmart or any health food store. As for the tear in your anus I would suggest take a stool softener called "colace". You can also buy this from the places stated above. It will make going to the bathroom easier on you and it won’t be so painful. Hope you get over this soon….you have little one to take care of.

Home Remedies for Fungal Infections Part 1 Ellagic Acid

More people get athlete’s foot than any other fungal infections. It can be really vexing, but it’s easy to control it and treated right away. The fungus that causes athlete’s foot is like those that cause jock itch and yeast infections. It breeds in closed, damp places and feeds on dead skin cells.

Walking bare foot in the shower at a gym and around the pools may increase your chances of getting athletes foot. Jock itch is a fungal infection in the groin that most men get from time to time. Women on the other hand may get yeast infections.

Which occurs when a fungus that that’s already in the body displaces the helpful bacterium that keeps it under control. The infection begins in the vagina but spreads if left untreated. If you are pregnant, taking anti-biotic or birth control pills. Then you are more likely to get an infection.

Thrush is a yeast infection in the mouth. It makes a white or yellow coating that may look like milk and is easy to scrape away, exposing raw, red skin. Babies frequently get thrush. People infected with AIDS or Cancer get infected more often.

Taking large doses of anti-biotics can also bring on Thrush. People who perspire a lot or who are over weight and likely to have folds of skin that will rub against each other are also prone to fungal infections.

Can a baby get thrush even if they do not have a yeast infection?

Monday, April 26th, 2010

My friends 7 month old has a white coating on her tongue, she does not have any kind of diaper rash or yeast infection and does not use the bath water to clean her mouth and teeth. She is formula fed and has just started on solids such as avacado, banana, rice, prunes and sweet potatoes, could this be the cause?she does seem to be a little more fussy drinking and is drinking less but I am pretty sure that is due to starting solids.

Go to the doctor because this definitely sounds like thrush, and unless you get it treated, it will stay, and could get worse!
They will prescribe medication that will have to be rubbed/swabbed on tongue several times a day.
Make sure you boil all of your babies bottles, nipples etc.
Make sure you clean all their toys with super hot water and mild soap, rinse well.
Thrush is a tricky thing to get rid of.
My daughter had it four times before she was 6 months old, and we finally had to get a stronger med from the doc to get rid of it!
Best of luck!

Personal Q about yeast infection (Thrush)?

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

Since getting pregnant with my son i have been suffering from thrush on and off.
I have tried canastan internal and external treatments but none have worked.

For the past 3 months i have had a very poor diet, i don’t know why i just have and i am now struggling with weight problems ( i have been slim my whole life )
Any way, my question is – could my poor diet be flaring up the yeast infection more!
Recently it feels a lot worse and (TMI) but it smells revolting, its really getting me down because i feel really embarrassed when it comes to sex with my partner and my weight going up hasn’t helped.
Has anyone got any helpful remedies for helping thrush?
Also, could my poor diet be making it worse, if so what do you recommend i eat?
I am extremely embarrassed to even ask this question, so i would really appreciate helpful and grown up answers!

Thank you!
Completely the wrong section, i know!
But i really needed advice from the people i know!
Sorry ladies, i didn’t make myself clear enough!

My son is 16 months old, so i have been struggling with this for a long time.
I have seen a doctor they have taken swabs and told me that its definitely thrush, i have taken the treatments, they didn’t work, i went back again for examination, they again told me its nothing more than thrush and gave me more treatments, yet again it didn’t work.

I would go back to your doctor and ask him to test for underlying causes, as persistent thrush can sometimes be a symptom of another problem (such as diabetes or a decreased immune system). If you’re not happy with the care you’re receiving, change doctor.
