I think I have some kind of vaginal infection. It’s been over 7 days. I don’t want to take meds for it though. I was wondering if it can go away on its own? And how long? I’m about 12 years old and I have an infection. I think I’ve had it there for a long time, is this bad? I know I’m supposed to go to the doctor but what else can I do besides that?

So my girlfriend has had something wrong with her for about 7 months. About 2 months ago we went to the clinic and she had a check-up. It usually works yes….just make sure it is large enough…as big as the top section of your thumb etc…peel it and cut some slash marks into it before inserting. Insert about half way. Do this before bedtime…90% of the time it almost falls out in the morning, otherwise you’d have to remove it yourself etc. Do it for at least 5 nights. Stay off sugar and you can also take some acidophilus (health food stores)
