Because of its function at the end of the line, your colon pays the bill for everything youve done wrong and every way your body has failed up to that point. Undigested food putrefies in the colon and becomes a prime breeding ground for harmful bacteria and other pathogens. For example, undigested carbs — especially sugar — are an ideal breeding ground for yeast AND bacteria.

Many health scientists believe yeast overgrowth is a prime cause of a whole list of medical problems. Intestinal yeast may literally be fermenting sugar in your stomach and turning it into alcohol and gas, among other things.

Nor is sugar the only problem. According to the Alternative Medicine Definitive Guide to Cancer, undigested protein putrefies in the intestinal tract and tends to form nitrosamines and ammonia, highly toxic compounds and known carcinogens.

Click Here To Find A Solution To Your Yeast Infection Or Thrush Problem!

I have read that Psoriatic Dermatitis is caused by yeast overgrowth. Either that or I have been misdiagnosed with PD. Should I stop taking the red yeast rice or am I on the wrong track? Thanks for any advice. ~Judy

I have been taking Red Yeast Rice for several years, 3 times a day. Have had no problems at all like you mention.

I like safer things for Cholesterol which is why I take it, and it DOES help!

yeast overgrowth in the body?

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

I have been suffering from indigestion/heartburn for years. I went to several types of doctors GI, ENT, etc, but no one can’t seem to treat my problems. They gave all sort of medications including acid reducers, things to help me move my bowels more often, but nothing works. I finally went to a Naturalist doctor who told me to do a diet to eradicate yeast in my body. I stopped going because he kept taking more money and I feel I could not afford it anymore because I was paying out of pocket. I want to get rid of the problem because it not only cause digestion problems, but also bad breath. Anyone ever suffered from this problem and tell me how they got rid of it (I have been to a dentist so that’s not the problem). By the way I am also pregnant.

Wow, I’m sorry to hear about that. Ironically, those two things (acid blockers and laxatives) may have made it worse… but I’m glad you found a Naturopath that was willing to help (although was unfortunately too expensive).

Normally, I would recommend to go on a candida cleanse, but you generally shouldn’t do that when you are pregnant or nursing. So, your best bet (and safest when pregnant) would be to stay away from sugars and baker’s yeast for a while (at least until you’ve got the situation under control), take Caprylic Acid (found in Coconut Oil, it helps fight the yeast), and take a good probiotic complex to help fight against the yeast. You could take some Grapefruit Seed Extract to help cleanse the system a little, but I’d be careful about how much when you’re pregnant to be on the safe side.
That should help you to cleanse out the yeast within a few weeks to a few months (depending on just how bad the overgrowth is). Once it’s passed and gone for a couple weeks, you could pretty easily just cut down to having just a daily probiotic (to keep the yeast down) and you should be good enough to start eating sugars and yeast again… but as with everything, I wouldn’t go overboard.

Yogurt does have some probiotics in it, but unfortunately, there aren’t anywhere near enough in there when you’ve got a yeast overgrowth problem… you’ll need a much stronger probiotic that you’ll only find in a supplemental product.
Good luck!

Please tell me how to overcome yeast overgrowth? I am taking Citricidal and have tried Threelac. Help me!?

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

I would like someone who has been through and come out a winner to contact me. I feel like I am all alone and fighting a losing battle. I have given up alot of foods (intollerances are many–that I never had before ) I gave up beer, sugars, breads, fruits, condiments etc. I take as much of the Citricidal as I can, even though it is not the recommended amount. I have to work with the public and it sometimes makes me shake even more than I normally do. The Threelac makes me nuts. I can’t focus properly and I get disoriented. This is very scary. I am already underweight I weigh 90lb. and I am 5′5" tall. The foods that I can’t have I need. I have been eating small amounts of meat again–after over 20 years of being vegetarian. I do not really like it but that was the advice I was given. Soy I love but am intolerant to now as well as dairy and sugar makes me very wired anyway. Please give me advice and a detailed diet that brought you success. I would be very grateful .

I was disabled for a full year with yeast overgrowth. The typical medical doctor has not been trained to deal with it. I know how you feel. I finally found a doctor who specializes in Yeast problems. Dennis Remington, in Provo, Utah. He saved my life. He gave me Niastaton, and Vitaldopholis, (probably both spelled wrong). Both harmless non drug items. 30 days gave me a 50% recovery, the other 50% came slowly, but I am cured. Of course I had a strict diet for the first 30 days, and gradually got back to a normal diet after a year. You can email me if you want more.

Can you eat rice on a yeast free diet?

Monday, April 26th, 2010

I have yeast overgrowth in my intestines and am confused about the diet. One website says I can eat it while another says i can’t. I know rice is starchy and to me that points to sugar. Can I have it or not and does anyone know a true yeast free diet? Also can I have oatmeal?

Yes! Rice is just fine. The primary thing to avoid is sugar. Candida (Yeast) feeds on sugar. I would also recommend taking supplements like: Grapefruit seed extract, and Oregano Oil. The "Now" brand Oregano Oil can destroy yeast. I have known many people who have used it, and had nothing but good to say about it. As far as your diet, You want to avoid eating alot of bread, fruit juices, anything with a high sugar content, beer or wine, ect. Oats and rice are fine. There is a natural sweetener known as "Stevia" which is very good for you and a far better alternative to Sweet N Low and other poisonous sweeteners.

has anyone heard of three-lac for treatment of candida yeast overgrowth?

Friday, April 23rd, 2010

does anyone know if there’s any "die-off" with the three-lac, or know if i should expect to feel worse before i feel better if i try the treatment?

I use to take ThreeLac for my long term systematic problem with candida. The die off reaction it caused was too much for my body to handle so I stopped taking it. If you have a less severe problem youll probably be OK. I had no choice but to stop because I was getting pain in my kidneys.

Drink LOTS of water to flush out the toxins if you take ThreeLac.

The best thing Ive done for candida is join the Yahoo group candidiasis. Ive learnt so much from the people on there, and theres a lot of wrong information about candida on the internet.
